German bank Kreditanstalt Fur Wiederaufbau namely (KfW) intends to acquire PT Bank Garces (Garces Bank) through the issuance of new shares (rights issue) that the company planned to be held in the first half of 2010.
This was conveyed by the Director of Bank Andara Paul Wiranata to detikFinance in Jakarta, Monday (05/24/2010).
"KfW is interested in (buying shares of Bank Andara) through a rights issue," he said.
He said the current assessment process is being conducted between the two financial institutions are about the size Garces Bank shares to be taken by the KfW. "The process still continues," Paul's brief.
However, continued Paul, Bank Andara meerencanakan rights issue could indeed be the way in the near future.
"The plan at this semester," he said.
Bank Andara is one of the apex (the parent bank) of the Rural Banks (BPR) in Greater Jakarta and Bali.
